En esta sesión abordaremos temas cruciales como la importancia del componente de bienestar dentro del aprendizaje, los beneficios que se generan en una comunidad educativa donde el bienestar es el punto focal y no solo un elemento. Exploraremos algunos puntos de coincidencia en distintos programas y enfoques locales e internacionales así como cuál sería el perfil de egreso de un estudiante con una educación a favor del bienestar.

A well-designed learning environment can have a positive impact on students’ social and emotional well-being, promoting equity and inclusivity, which in turn can lead to improved learning outcomes. A supportive and inclusive environment can create a sense of belonging and comfort for students, allowing them to focus on their learning and achieving their full potential.
The workshop will explore how to establish a culture that supports change and communicate the importance of utilizing the school environment to promote positive outcomes. Participants will learn about strategies to create a positive and inclusive culture, as well as ways to effectively communicate the benefits of well-designed learning environments to stakeholders such as teachers, administrators, parents, and students. The goal of the workshop will be to help attendees understand the impact of the learning environment on student success and equip them with the tools they need to make changes that will lead to improved outcomes.

In order for students to achieve and thrive in our schools, students need to be actively engaged in the learning, take responsibility for their thinking and behavior, feel like they belong, and have the social skills necessary to work cooperatively with other students. In this interactive session we will explore concrete strategies teachers can use to build caring classrooms, address social development, and foster deep learning.
“Designing Learning Experiences for Cognitive and Cultural Inclusion through The Landscape Model of Learning “
Learn to use The Landscape Model to ensure the highest levels of personal success possible for all students. Recognizing that students are positioned across a landscape when it comes to their learning and growth, the model provides strategies for developing an asset-based understanding of what each student brings into the learning ecosystem (previous learning and educational access, cultural and other identity orientations, cognitive abilities, etc.), for co-constructing each child’s horizon with students and their families (goals and aspirations, as well as their Zone of Proximal Development), and for constructing a personal pathway appropriate for that student (a culturally- and cognitively-responsive personal learning plan to reach those goals through student-centered pedagogies). The entire model hinges on student protagonism, or agency, and the goal is a level of “inclusive prosperity” which leverages talents and passions to ensure all students reach their own highest possible level of success.

The Japanese concept of Ikigai explains our sense of purpose when there is an intersection between what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. In this interactive workshop, we will explore different methodologies that can be used in schools that guide students towards a sense of Ikigai. We will highlight “future-proof” skills, life design methodology, and Virtual Reality technology, and how each can boost engagement with students.

La pregunta es el vehículo que permite al individuo dar sentido al conocimiento y orientar sus interrogantes hacia la conciencia de sí mismo y su relación con el mundo que lo rodea. Saber preguntar es querer conocer e indagar. Saber cuestionar es la herramienta base de cualquier proceso creativo y de innovación. A través de diferentes ejercicios prácticos se construyen preguntas poderosas que llevan al asombro y a la indagación. Se espera que los participantes puedan identificar desafíos y crear soluciones a través de la integración de tres ejes: sostenibilidad, creatividad y felicidad.
En un recorrido por la ruta creativa se invita a los asistentes a jugar con siete verbos para experimentar un renacimiento del don natural de la creatividad. Esta metodología demuestra cómo es posible conseguir que el pensamiento creativo se instaure como parte vital de nuestra existencia. Conectar, explorar, preguntar, integrar, dudar, innovar y crecer son acciones que ponen en juego la lógica, la razón, la imaginación y la inventiva para crear e innovar con propósito en este mundo complejo y lleno tanto de posibilidades como de incertidumbres.
